USEFUL ADVICES TO ORDER A STANDARD

1.An Approved Belgian Standard (of purely Belgian origin), is a complete document (cover and technical contents).

It is established in bilingual version french/english in one or two booklets.

2.An Endorsed Belgian Standard (implementation of an European Standard (EN) or of a Harmonization Document (HD)) is composed of a cover taking the title of the Standard in four languages (FR/NL/DE/EN), the references of EN/HD and the dates of authorization of publication.

According to the case, the cover is accompanied:

- either by an EN or a HD (if the document was elaborated within a technical body of CENELEC),

- either by an implementation note as EN/HD if the document is based on a IEC-Publication and to which the possible common modifications will be joined.

3.If the EN/HD is basd on a IEC-Publication (bilingual english/french in only one booklet), this one is never joined.

It is thus necessary to order the IEC-Publication separately.

Caution!

The European Standards, the Harmonization Documents and the Implementation notes (supplemented by possible common modifications) exist in three separate versions (german/english/french).

It is thus necessary to specify the desired version during the ordering. In the absence of indication, the English version will be sent.
